Review texts you have chosen for this assignment (you might want to look ahead a week)and then answer the following questions:
According to author one, what is empire? (Consider such ideas as how empire paved the way for “civilization,” consider the ethics of imperial projects, and what intellectual traits were inspired by the empire.)
According to the other author you selected, what is the what is empire? (Consider such ideas as how empire paved the way for “civilization,” consider the ethics of imperial projects, and what intellectual traits were inspired by the empire.)
How are the two author’s opinions the same?
How are they different?
What do these similarities and differences suggest about the idea of the “empire” and why that idea was created? (Consider who created the idea of the empire, for what purpose and who was writing about it.)
What do these similarities and differences suggest about the way the idea of the “empire” has been used to the development of nations, both physically and intellecutally? (consider the romantic ideas we are taught about empire—think of The Jungle Book, The Heart of Darkness, “White Man’s Burden” or Jumanji. How do these sorts of figures and their struggles and successes shape your perspective of the empire?)
How do these author’s perspectives help you to understand the significance of the empire in world history?

#3: What connections do you see between how race, gender, language, and dis/ability are tied to power and/or in/equity?
You are required to turn in three 3 paged critical reading reflections (Times New Roman, 12 point font, double spaced). These should not be summaries of the readings, but instead should engage with key concepts. You will be graded on your ability to synthesize ideas, critically analyze the readings, cite evidence from the text, build connections to current day schooling, and present an organized, grammatically correct, and thematically sound paper. Substantive reference to the readings is required. Assignments are due to Canvas, please reference the TA for any additional guidelines for assignment submission.
Questions that could guide these assignments are: Was there something in the readings, course materials, or films that you had never considered? Are there ideas you agree/disagree with (make sure to base this on evidence and not opinion or emotion)? How have these ideas deepened, challenged or changed your understandings of inequity? Did any of the ideas presented help to frame experiences you have observed in schools?

THE PAPER IS ALREADY WRITTEN. ALL I NEED IS A REVISION TO IT. BELOW ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS SO YOU KNOW WHAT THE PAPER SHOULD HAVE IN IT, AND CAN IDENTIFY IS ANYTHING IS MISSING.
Original Instructions
Stage 2: Draft the introduction of your term paper. This should include a brief review of the literature (specifically how the theory has been used in previous research) and a thesis. If you select option 1, you should include a description of what methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, observations, textual analysis) you would use to investigate the phenomenon. This stage of the paper should be approximately 4-6 pages long. This paper will be evaluated based upon the author’s effort to develop their paper beyond the first stage to include a review of the literature, which attempts to summarize, analyze, and synthesize research related to the theory selected. In this stage of the paper, accurate use of APA will also be evaluated.
Feedback to Implement (THIS IS ALL YOU NEED TO DO)
This is a decent start. I have a few recommendations for developing this paper. You will need to extend all sections of the paper, specifically, expand the intro to include some explainnation for why this theory, the literature needs to then be tied to this goal and expanded, finally the critique will need expanding as well. You will need to also write about the theory in your own words more and offer more explanations and examples of your own, especially as it relates to the theory. Just to give you an idea, right now this would be a B-range paper, but could drop to a C range if the areas described above are not addressed.
Be sure to check and closely follow APA style guide throughout your paper.
Make clear at some point before you get into your literature review why we are talking/reading about cognitive dissonance? Give the reader some context for the topic.
“two cognitive components” describe what these are in your own words. it’s one way for me to assess your understanding of the concept and for your
explain what negative arousal means
Paper must be objective.
There is a screenshot with a bit more feedback.
Paper to edit is attached under “first draft to edit” with the original instructions, an example and the feedback SS.

NURS 321-41
Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice
Module 4 Individual Case Study Discussion Questions Part 2 We are looking at data analysis, evidence-based practice and quality improvement during this module. There are many resources to use to assist us in improving the quality of care. These resources contain data that we must analyze. We also know from QSEN that case studies are a way of providing in-depth evidence-based discussion of clinical topics that can be used to guide practice.
For this assignment, you will develop/write/invent a case study that will demonstrate a nurse incurring a problem and using an innovation(s) to improve patient care. So think of this as the reverse of how things would normally go….problem incurred, case study evolves….then finding the literature, the experts, the EBP to improve quality.
Instead you have the research and innovation to fix or improve the problem but not the case that initiated the whole cascade towards quality improvement.
There are several innovations to look at in the literature and EBP, so choose something you are interested in, get creative in developing your real life scenario or case. Use scholarly research/references to assist you in creating your case study. For this assignment you MUST create your own case study, do not copy and paste one found on the internet or you will receive a zero. 1. Beyond writing your case study, please
2. State the innovation being used, and the
3. Problem you are trying to fix.
